I was in a state of upset - no, anger - no, digust when I hammered out this stole.  Earlier in the day, I happened upon this awesome muted rainbow material in my local hobby store and just had to have it.  I plopped my bundle down on the check-out counter, the one I generally go to because the lady there is delightful.  Upon seeing the material, she asked how I was going to use it and I responded it was to make a stole for a pastor.  Dead silence.  Her cheerful, welcoming, loving Christian demeanor did a 180 into visible judgment.  She remarked she could not believe any pastor would wear something made with rainbow material.  I gathered my purchase, left, and proceeded to play over in my mind the 1000 things I could have said when I left instead of, "Thank you and have a very blessed day."  Getting home, I found the loudest material I could use for a background and created this stole.  In my childishness and immaturity, I named it "In Your Face".  Yes, my thoughts and actions, in my attempt to live a Christ-like life, need work...
