The actual stole material is a field of stars in shades of blue and the yellow material has gold metallic flecks.  This is a simple design of cutouts affixed to the stole.  "O Holy Night" has been a favorite of mine since I was a child and I wanted to pay tribute to all the memories of my childhood Christmas nights.
